Charlie began playing table tennis when he was 11 years old and has been competing internationally since high school. He is left-handed and uses short pips on his forehand, so he has experience playing and coaching a variety of styles. Charlie loves meeting new people and sharing his passion for table tennis!
Charlie is originally from North Carolina, but has spent a large portion of his life living, studying and working in Asia and Latin America. He holds a B.A. in Visual Media Studies and Chinese from Duke University and a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing. Charlie just returned from living in Taiwan for the last 2 years.
